Symptoms of viral warts

The human papilloma virus (HPV) which causes viral warts multiplies in the epidermis. The infection spreads from person to person with an incubation period of 1-8 months. It appears most often on the hand or on the sole. Almost skin-colored, brown, dirty brown, varying in size, protruding from the skin, with a cornified and prickly surface, forming singly or in groups. The plantar wart often sinks into the skin and is often painful. Plantar viral warts are similar to corns but the two lesions can be distinguished by the help of some characteristics.

The removal of viral wart removal is necessary due to the possibility of further infection, aesthetic reasons, and pain.

A műtétet helyi érzéstelenítést követően végezzük, de kisebb vírusos szemölcsök esetén ez szükségtelen. A széndioxid lézer fénye a szövetekben található vízben nyelődik el, közben hő fejlődik, a sejtek felforrnak, szétrobbannak. Vírusos szemölcs esetében a kóros szövetek elpárologtatására használjuk.

A vírusos szemölcsök széndioxid lézerrel történő eltávolítása modern, hatásos és biztonságos eljárás, de a javasolt sebkezelési és életmódi tanácsok betartása alapvető az esztétikailag is kedvező gyógyulás érdekében. Az eltávolított vírusos szemölcsök helyén savósan nedvező sebfelület marad vissza. Amennyiben a műtét a lábon történt, akkor a műtét után 2 napig polcolja fel a lábát, majd fokozatosan kezdje terhelni. A gyógyulási idő a testtájék és a vírusos szemölcs nagyságától függően 7-14 nap. A lézerrel műtött terület napfény valamint szoláriumozás hatására a környezeténél jobban lebarnulhat, ezért bőrtípusának megfelelő, de minimum 30-as faktorszámú fényvédőt használjon 3 hónapig. A direkt napozást és a szoláriumozást kerülje ezalatt. Mivel a műtét során csak a szemmel látható vírusos szemölcsöket tudjuk eltávolítani, így előfordulhat új szemölcsök megjelenése. Emellett sajnos a műtéti területben is megjelenhetnek újból a szemölcsök.

Irreális elvárások a páciens részéről, kezeletlen cukorbetegség, érszűkület. Terhesség esetén az előnyök és a hátrányok gondos mérlegelését követően végzünk széndioxid lézerrel vírusos szemölcs eltávolító műtétet.
